Ok, so it's actually kind of a big problem. I was on a trip with a girl I really like the past few days, but unfortunately nothing really culminated. Long story short, I'm pretty sure I nearly bored her to death, annoyed her a bit with my shyness, and upset her with my lack of "masculine activity." I haven't heard from her since we got back from our two and a half day vacation, and I'm beginning to worry she is now a lost cause.

While I was wallowing in my misery, I came to a dramatic, yet obvious, conclusion: I'm a wuss around girls I like. I realized that when I'm hanging out with girls who I don't care too much about, I'm outgoing, funny, and cocky. But when I'm on a date with a girl I hope to begin a serious relationship with, I'm the exact opposite. I'm pretty sure this is why my success rate is depressingly low.

Does anyone have any advice on how to overcome this problem? And someone please tell me I'm not the only one who does this.

Outgoing and funny and cocky, I think from what I recall girls Love that!
If you be patient with the girls you talk too, don't rush into anything. Be a friend but not too much of it
cuz i think you know where that can horribly lead.
Try 2 aim for the bad guy traits, like being mysterious, like don't give too much information bout yourself
And talk about stuff you like, as You said u bored her 2 death. Think about what girls and guys like together.
example: movies or music.
Maybe those things can help.
Just tell me if that helps. Aim for charming!

You see, I'm not always like that though... only around girls that I like. I guess I have a predisposition that if I act normally, they won't like me in return. It sounds very juvenile, I know. I know how I should act around these girls, but for some reason I can never seem to be the cool, fun guy that I am. Maybe I should just stop trying? I seem to have better luck with girls when I don't try, because I tend to care less about their opinions, so I don't get nervous and shell up.

  This is me being frustrated.

Girls always want the guy that dosen't want them...
Maybe because your trying you seem to try too hard and you get them turned off
If you tease, and flirt but don't show you want them, they will want u to be attracted to them, so
that makes them attracted

Opposites attract - negative and postives = equal

if u dont want them, but tease n flirt 2 keep their mind open about them, they will be attracted 2 you

Thats another bad guy trait that guys should use 2 be the middle man.

It's always easier said than done, but I'll do my best not to try too hard and see where it gets me. One day at a time right?

and if it works
and a girl really is interested and attracted 2 u
then become that 2 her, but styl not 2 much
then later, i think all you need to be is yourself and your set!
But maybe it will work
but other advice from other people is goood??
