MUST READ - How to post your story for maximum benefit
« on: January 17, 2009, 04:22:05 AM »
Since this is basically the most important part of the whole forum, I want to do my best for your optimal results.

First thing: It's always a good idea to just let it out.

We're a bunch of guys really respective guys, I swear you won't be made fun of. So just let it out; if you feel that you need to be anonymous, be so. Change city names, dates, whatever it takes. It's the content that matters, not the context!

But just know that you can trust us! This is important. Hateful comments will be deleted without warning, this forum is only for grown-ups actually taking things serious.

Also, don't spare any details. The more details you can give, the more we can understand your situation and therefore talk about it optimally. If you feel that something needs to be said hasn't been said, please god, just say it. This forum is all about sharing.

Be 100% honest. This will get you the best help, and help others just as much. Don't make yourself look better or worse than you are - but don't be entirely objective either. Your story should be written from your viewpoint. Remember, it's your story!

This is as much about venting as it is about feedback and questions.

Taking the first step to share your story will greatly benefit you in many ways. Research has shown that if you conciously take the first step, your unconciousness will actually help you without you even noticing.

So just post your story. Don't think too much about punctuation, grammar etc. It's really not that important - the important thing is you sharing your story.

Keep this is mind, and I'll see you in the threads.
