Hey guys.

Are any of you guys are writers or even better, scriptwriters???
Because, I am writing a spec script for a show I'm trying to make. I'm trying to decide if I should sell it to a big TV company or make it my own web series.
Well, I'm telling you this because The show is going to be about guys who help other guys about getting girls, and becoming a man, life, and etc.
The shows called R.O.M.E.O (working title) , The premise is about Brent, (i jus called it after myself because I cant find a good name yet) a teenager who fails at getting the girl of his dreams, who joins a group of learning young men who build themselves into amazing, attractive men by the help of a mysterious, 'alpha male' man.

If you guys are intrested and want to collabrate, or send me story ideas, comment about it, also tell me if this is a good idea.

The reason I wanted to create a script about this is because this seems to be the most biggest thing in my life. To change into a better guy. So, why not put something I love, writing and film, and something I'm inspired by, these sites and the knowledge I learned, and put it together.

I know I'm young, as a teenager myself, but I am very intrested in the movie and tv business so, making scripts is a start. I love movies and tv shows, always did. I would love to direct and create this as a web series. But I don't have the money to buy all the equipment, or actors or behind the scenes people. So, its a hard knock life right now.

I will finish up the pilot script (first episode) and see if I can put it up here. But please comment, give me your thoughts and ideas.

I'm not very creative in the story-telling sense, though I have tried several times (and still dearly want) to write a book about my experiences. Not just a memoir but like a semi-autobiography... I think your best bet would just be draw from your own real experiences, which it seems you're going to do. I can offer tips and suggestions and maybe do some revising, but as for the actual writing, I'm afraid I wouldn't be much help. I can't wait to see what you have though, you should definitely post it somewhere for us to see when it's done.

That's exactly what I'm doing taking my life expirences, well some of them and putting it inside the storylines. Any expirence with writing is good. I'll try revising the script as much as I can so it will be nice and good when all you guys are ready to see it.
And tips and suggestions are very good too, Scott. When I post the script you guys can comment.

The show's going to be a mix of drama, romance and comedy. Like a Teen show I guess, like 90210 or The OC. It's just going to be very different though. So don't hate me if you hate those girly like show lol. Trust me its going to be different.

Doing something like this bears great potential for growth in itself, too, so that doesn't make it any worse...

Be prepared to be shot down A LOT though if you go to a TV station or network; they get hundreds of show ideas per day. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't persevere - have a great project and believe it.

Once I'm done writing the first draft and second draft, I'll c if I can send it too you. Because write now I'm still writing.
There is alot of stuff to write besides the script that is important to hand in for the TV business people.

Also, JKTC Members, I need your help for an idea.

There is a scene where the characters go into a party. If you guys are willing to do this, Please tell me the most embarressing story that ever happened to you in a party and everyone laughed at you. YES, I know its embarressing to say. But this is comedy so, I need it dearly! So, If you think its funny when you look back at it, Put it on here! Don't worry, I won't use your name lol!

Now I have to edit it
ask some people to do a reading of the first draft.
Get more feedback, edit it and show you guys.

Well I'm done the script, haven't revised it as much though.
School and other parts of my life really made me real busy!
I'm trying to do as much as possible, I'm editing and polishing to perfection every little part of spare time I get.
Once, I know I have a third draft of it, ill see if i can post it up here or whatever.
Anyways, Ill reply back soon with more info!

Question: The show I'm trying to hit to all audiences. I love the freedom of 18 rated swearing and nudity like Entourage and Dexter and how they still sell out a gud storyline. But the people in my show are high school students. In reality, majority of teenagers swear and have seen nudity, so I thought adding swearing would fit the realness. However, it won't make me able to get to that teenager audience if i add the coarse language and nudity from the shows it will be allowed to be aired on?

So opinon, 18A or PG-13?
