It's been one of those days, where you not only have no work to do... But, there is no one available to hang with.
And when your not in a position to go spend money on something spontaneous...
I sit here, bored...

I think the only reason why I am even here on this site right now, typing this... is because I have nothing better to do...

No one is available to hang out either... I feel so... isolated.

The lawn is mowed, the house is clean. It's one of my day's off of work... and I get to relax for once... But, I want something to do... I feel like I am spazzing out, sitting here with nothing to do...

Being bored can actually be very healthy - I'd say try to enjoy it once in a while.

I know it's 'boring', but isn't that just a placeholder for what you are really feeling?

Being alone is not a problem. Lately, all my friends seem to be in either a relationship or any other situation because of which they're not able to 'hang out' with me. A nice opportunity for me to 'train' myself in being more social: just go out and talk to people. (OK, I don't do this often because I find it hard; I don't see myself as overly social, I'm still a little too shy to my liking)

So right now, whenever I feel lonely, I realize that it is a choice. You can overcome your loneliness; all it takes is action.

Do pushups until you can't even lift yourself off the ground. Sounds crazy, but you'll be too tired to realize you're bored. Plus, it's good exercise.  ;)

Take a power nap. I do them often and man I come out super energized. For some reason, I always find something to do afterwards.
